An ‘original’ East Kilbride road, dating before the new town. Just ahead on the left is White Moss House.

First day back, stinking headache. Too much time spent in small room, staring at a screen might be the reason.
Could also be lack of scones.
All day I’m seeing investigations and activities and wondering if they would be best served on Glow, or fine where they are.
S2 History are still working on JFK, and the same [...]
Day 28 Wee chookie birdie

I could hear the bird as I walked to the car, but I couldn’t find the flippin’ thing.
Then when I did find it, I couldn’t see it in the camera. The lines of the trees said I was in the right place, but it was invisible to me.
So I was quite chuffed when I saw the picture.

Day 2 on mentor training answers a few more questions – but there’s still no scones.

Just spotted on eBay – a German release of The Moon Stallion! Where’s the UK version?
Can only hope that this means that it’s been digitally remastered, ready for a release soon. Got my Google Alert set up, just need to be patient.
I sincerely hope that this is not one of those cherished memories from childhood just [...]

First day training as a Glow Mentor and I’m confused.
Why are there no scones? In-service without scones just isn’t the done thing!
Also, what’s the role of the website, if we’re all on the intranet? I see roles for both, it’s just figuring out what’s to go where, and what needs duplicated, and so on. One [...]
Days 24, 25 Calderglen

Shoved the weekend together cos both days we took the kids out to have a look at the sad non-remains of Calderwood Castle. That end of Calderglen seems sadly ignored, although obviously much loved by the locals and their dogs. In particular on Sunday we met a huge black beastie called Rocko. His owner claimed [...]
